Travel Information

Travel Information

Although there are no transfer arrangements available, there are very good transport links within the city.

You can take the Aerobus from the airport direct to Cais do Sodre station and then there is a train direct to Cascais, this should cost approx. 10-15 Euros. More information can be found here (new window). There is also a taxi port at the Airport, where you can get a taxi to the hotel or other venues. Costs may vary, depending on how many people are taking the taxi, and traffic situation on that moment.

The Hotel Baía is situated less than 200m from Cascais Station.

The hotel can be contacted at reservas@hotelbaia.com (or see for more information "Venue & Accommodation" (new window) further up this page), and they can arrange a taxi for you, which is from 40-70 Euros depending on how many people are taking the taxi, and traffic situation on that moment.

Cascais - Important Places

Last year, the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) launched the second IMRF Awards - then called the H.E.R.O. Awards - recognising just some of the exceptional individuals and organisations around the world that make maritime search and rescue (SAR) possible.

The inaugural IMRF Awards were a great success, raising awareness of the excellent work done by those involved in the maritime SAR community, recognising outstanding bravery and achievements and highlighting innovative new SAR products and technologies.

We are now seeking sponsors for the IMRF Awards 2018.
