International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) Awards
Terms and Conditions
The International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) will appoint an international and experienced judging panel.
All nominations are accepted on the understanding that the decisions of that judging panel are final and that the IMRF will not enter into correspondence, or dialogue, regarding those decisions.
Applications will be accepted from professional or volunteer organisations, or individuals, working in Search and Rescue as recognised by the IMRF.
Applications must be from organisations and individuals directly involved in the actions and will not be accepted from third parties.
Entries are for the period 1 July 2017 until 30 June 2018. No applications will be accepted if the actions fall outside of this period.
It is accepted that applications in the technical and logistical area will have had a development period. However, the first practical application of the software/hardware or improved practices must fall within the time period specified.
What You Need to Know:
All applications should be made in clear, concise and straightforward language. Please avoid jargon wherever possible.
All applications must be made in English.
Applications that are incomplete, or where the video is over 4 minutes length, may not be accepted.
The IMRF will accept up to three different entries from the same organisation or individuals.
Software/hardware/technological/logistical entrants can make up to three applications providing each applications is for a markedly different idea/administrative or logistical innovation.
Any entrant making multiple applications must submit an individual registration form for each entry.
Nominations for the 2018 IMRF Awards will remain open until 23:59 hours (UK time) on 27 July 2018.
The IMRF reserves the right to make awards at its own discretion.
We will not sell or give away your, or your own and your nomination's details to third parties. We reserve the right to use the name and organisation of the nominated person/team/service/invention & innovation for promotional purposes.
